We have designed some tuning packages here at TDI North to help you get the most out of your Honda Civic FN2 Type R.

We have brought together some of the best products in the market place to be able to offer you them supplied, fitted and mapped using the latest EcuTek software for the Honda Civic.

The EcuTek mapping included all the options such as the flat foot shifting, blip on downshift and the adjustable launch control, not forgetting the valet mode and the anti start mode.

The packages below have been designed so that you choose the parts that you want and if you already have an intake, exhaust or a manifold fitted just select the not needed option.

Here is a list of some of the ECU features:

Adjustable Launch Control
Determine and set your own launch rpm preferences. The launch RPM is adjustable from the cruise control switch gear and can be enabled for any of the four Map Switch modes. The Ignition Timing and AFR can be calibrated pre-launch and a progressive time based after launch feature prevents excessive wheel spin. This is a standard feature and included with the mapping as standard.

Four-way Map Switching 
Four separate modes that can be selected using he cruise control switch gear with the rev counter providing a visual indication of the current mode selected. Create Custom Maps to add or remove fueling or timing and enable features like Launch Control, Flat Foot Shift, Auto Blip or Speed Density in any of the modes, this is only available on the GT cars due to them having the cruise control buttons, for the non GT cars the EVI Bluetooth interface will be required.

Downshift Auto-Blip
The Auto-Blip feature applies a short burst of throttle when the driver is down-shifting under braking. This raises the RPM to help provide a smooth entry into the lower gear, reducing engine braking and shocks to the transmission. (Included FOC if equipped with cruise control)

Flat Foot Shifting
This allows you to change gear without lifting your foot off the accelerator, it works by cutting the ignition for enough time to allow you to select the next gear. (Included FOC if equipped with cruise control)

HKS RACING SUCTION RELOADED: 

Vehicle specific suction pipe design. Angle and length of pipe are for enhanced induction efficiency. It is effective for quick response for NA engines and higher performance for turbocharged engines.

TEGIWA CARBON AIRBOX HONDA CIVIC TYPE R FN2:

This kit gives excellent performance gains over the original Civic FN2 setup and a good induction noise. The kit also looks great in the engine bay! It is supplied complete with all fixings/brackets for an OEM quality fit. The filter is a genuine K&N cotton mesh filter which as standard comes with their legendary 1 million mile warranty. The intake is likely to give you between 5-8bhp without mapping and with mapping upto 12bhp peak and much improved mid-range.

 

Manifold: 

Japspeed 4-2-1 Decat Exhaust manifold FN2:

Civic FN2 TypeR 4-2-1 Tubular Race Exhaust Manifold & Downpipe replaces the restrictive standard cast iron manifold and improves exhaust gas flow thanks to its stainless steel, CAD-designed construction. It also replaces the restrictive catalytic converter, resulting in much improved throttle response and dyno-proven power gains.

TEGIWA EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEADER CIVIC FN2 07-11:

Just with this alone, gains of between 5-10bhp are achievable before mapping. With supporting mods and mapping, gains of between 7-15bhp and a lot more torque are easily achieved.

Toda Racing 4-2-1 Exhaust manifold - FD2

In order to get the best performance, engine power, efficiency, this exclusive exhaust manifold design takes into consideration not only the special characteristics of the K20A engine but also the results of TODA's extensive bench testing program.

 

Exhaust system:

TDi North 3" Exhaust System:

All TDi North exhaust systems are quality systems designed to be efficient and track friendly.

They are a 3" design and full mandrel bent and TIG welded with re-packable silencers. The system are also designed to be "Track Friendly" so your can exploit the full potential of your setup without having to run bungs and sub silencers.

These Honda Civic Type R performance exhausts are made in 2.5"/63.5mm pipework and fit from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.

TEGIWA 70MM Cat Back Exhaust System.

The pipework features 70mm pipework from the manifold back. 70mm is the perfect diameter to retain clearance, relatively low noise levels and good power increase. The tail box is a similar size to OEM in order to keep sound levels low enough for track days - it's within the limits for all UK tracks. If you daily drive your FN2 then this is the exhaust for you! The exhaust gives performance gains of around 4-8bhp over standard un-mapped, 

Toda Racing Exhaust System:

Toda Racing Exhaust Systems are designed to reduce backpressure and increase exhaust flow for greater peak power and a broader torque band.
